About this assistant
The DaisyQ Design YouTube Assistant is a private tool operated by the owner of the DaisyQ Design YouTube channel. It uses official Google and YouTube APIs to help the owner understand channel performance, review comments, and prepare draft replies. It is not offered to the public.
Google user data we access
After the channel owner authorizes access, the assistant may read:
- YouTube channel identity and channel ID;
- channel and video metadata;
- YouTube Analytics metrics and reports, such as views, watch time, and subscriber activity;
- published comments and, when the authorized API permits it, comment moderation status including comments held for review;
- OAuth access and refresh tokens required to maintain the authorized connection.
The assistant currently requests only read-only YouTube scopes: youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly.
How we use the data
Google user data is used only for the channel owner’s internal work: channel and content analysis, performance reporting, comment review, and preparing reply drafts for the owner to approve. The assistant does not automatically publish videos, comments, or replies.
Storage and retention
OAuth tokens are stored locally in an owner-controlled project environment and are not stored on this public website. Reports, analysis, and reply drafts may be stored in the owner-controlled workspace for as long as they remain useful. Tokens and locally stored outputs can be deleted by the owner at any time. Access can also be revoked through the owner’s Google Account security settings.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated third parties. Data may be processed only by services needed to operate the owner-requested workflow, including Google/YouTube APIs and the owner’s authorized AI and workspace service providers, subject to their applicable data-protection terms. Data may also be disclosed when required by law.
Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect OAuth credentials and stored data, including limiting access to the channel owner’s environment and avoiding publication of tokens in source repositories, documentation, or this website. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and deletion
The channel owner can stop using the assistant, revoke its Google access, and delete locally stored tokens, reports, and drafts. To request help with access or deletion, contact daisyqdesign@gmail.com.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the assistant’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
